Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas believes that his former team is still strong despite the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. He said that Real Madrid is more than a single player and that he believes that they will still be competing for trophies.

He said that there are plenty of world-class players such as Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema that can cater for the absence of the Portuguese striker and that he is sure that they will be able to help the team win trophies.
He said that Real Madrid has always been a collective team and that he is sure that the new manager will find a way to win games in the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, he admitted that the absence of the player will be felt as he was a world-class player.

He said that Cristiano Ronaldo was not only a quality player on the pitch but also in the dressing room as he was an inspiration for the young players. He believes that Real Madrid will miss this aspect of the player more as he was a leader on and off the pitch.

Iker Casillas believes that Real Madrid can compete against Barcelona for the title and that he is sure that they will be able to win the title this season.

Concerning his own career, he said that he wants to play as much as he can with Porto. He said that he is reaching the end of his career and he knows that he will not have a lot of games left to play. At the moment he wants to enjoy himself and make sure that he enjoys himself on the pitch.
He said that he is still feeling good and want to enjoy every second of each game.
